School Daze- It's Laesha
For the last 5 months or so I've been going to school for esthetics. I've been interested in the beauty industry for years; hair, nails and especially Skin and Makeup. I've been doing beauty and lifestyle writing since my days at Upscale. Now that I'm going after my dream of contributing for magazines, becoming a licensed esthetician is super important to me.
With all that goes into being successful, it can sometimes be a little overwhelming. There's all the new things I'm learning; like facials, aromatherapy, human anatomy and color theory. Here are some photos from my adventures as a Beauty School Student. XoxO, Laesha Ebony

Nightly Wrap Up- Making The Grade
Today was a good day! I went to school and I did services the whole time. I did a skin analysis, a facial, brow and lash tinting, brow waxing, a foot treatment, scalp massage and a makeup application. I LOVE DOING THIIS!!! I'm living the life I want and it feels good.
Thanks for reading, it means the world!

Beauty Tip: Steam
Incorporating steam a few times a week will improve the look and feel of the skin. Avoid over usage. Too much stream can adversely effect the skin.
Masking It!
So one of the major reasons I started esthetics school was to learn how to help others care for their skin and to improve the look and feel of my own.
A few weeks into classes we learned all about skin analysis and how to evaluate the skin. I discovered then that my skin is oily and that to aid my skin's texture I would have to get a skin exfoliate system every 2 weeks for the next 2 and a 1/2 months.
The following pictures show how the 1hour- long facial is done.
