You Don't Have To Go Far For Fabulous in NYC

So if you follow me on twitter or are my friend on Facebook, then you know that I'm in New York right now. This trip has been something that I really needed to do for a while now. I really have never taken the time to just come up and take in all the fabulousness that New York has to offer.


This trip has been so much fun for me and has been exactly what I needed and so much more. Once I'm back in Atlanta it's back to work and then I start school ( which I'm super excited about). Don't get me wrong, I love what I do and continued education is important but sometimes I really just NEED a break.


My main reason for coming up here was to attend the 1st ever  IMATS( International Makeup  Artist Trade Show) held in NY. I've been wanting to attend this event for like six plus  months. I also wanted to go to the Wendy Show and spend sometime with my siblings and cousins.

IMATS was great and I also went to a really good truck show in the meat packing district. Felix Rey
is a fabulous label that I had the honor of visiting their design studio this weekend.
I really enjoyed how brands are so open and accessible here.

A great evening clutch

I really like this clutch. It's giving me that Wizard of OZ, vibe:)

There was a sign on the door with instructions and fashion fun was just a short elevator ride away. I got to meet a lot of the people that help make Felix Rey a success on a daily basis and that something I will not soon forget.
I found that you don't have to look far to find the fab in NYC. Just get out and opportunity will find you.
