This morning on the Today Show the Duchess of Windor's jewels were on display. The American socialite whom Edward VIII famously gave up the throne of England to marry in 1937 -- will be auctioned by Sotheby's in London on Nov. 30. Many of the pieces from her collection are expected to bring in as much as $2.3 million.
The collections features some wonderful Cartier pieces that were custom made for the former duchess. My favorite is the cigarette case that documented the couples travels together.
